We bred Nankoweap in early April. We won't know until May if she has puppies on the way, but we feel very good about the breeding. Please check below for more information on WoodsRunner Duncan, the sire. The litter is expected in early June, probably around the 8th.

Here is the happy couple. Yes, this is a May-December romance! Duncan is a proven stud from the WoodsRunner kennel, a great sled dog, with a great personality. Duncan has sired 16 litters resulting in 78 puppies in his "stud career", and Nanny's litter will be the 17th!

Owned by Bob and Connie Jones of Portland, Maine

Duncan is OFA Good, and passed his CERF eye exams four times annually from 98-01. He was the 1999 Best of Breed for the UKC Top Ten competition, and was in the UKC Top Ten in 1999, 2000, 2001 during his show career.  He has one Reserve Best of Show.

He has led the WoodsRunner Team in numerous freight races, recreational sledding and finished the 30 mile Sandwich Notch race. He appeared on Animal Planet for his "15 minutes of fame", when he was featured on Animal Planet's K-9 to 5 program featuring Duncan carting and rigging.
