Our New Pup is Here!!
The Solo Litter, new pictures as of 8/27/06

Go to the bottom of the page to see the latest pictures of Olo. She will be 8 weeks old on Monday the 28th of August! She is a great little girl, spunky and smart. She'll be staying on here at Grand River Chinooks and will hopefully round out our sled team!!- 8/27/06

Well, Nankoweap surprised us by getting pregnant even with a very late breeding. On Monday, July 3rd at 10 :49 AM, we welcomed our first Grand River puppy into the world! She is a little girl, currently named Olo (rhymes with solo!). She weighed 11.4 oz. at birth. She decided to arrive on the birthday of her grandfather, WoodsRunner Duncan!

Thanks to Penthea Burns and Galen DuBois who helped with the delivery, and to the continuing support from Joyce Maley, Jessica Maurer and everyone on the breeder's list who has lent their support and expertise!

Here are some pictures from day 7 and Olo's 8 day birthday. She is gaining weight like anything, at day 9 she weighs 32 oz! Her coat is getting lighter and with a distict reddish cast to it.
